Mobile Phone: Add Stacklist Website as an App Shortcut

Adding Stacklist to your phone's home screen makes it work just like the mobile app you're used to. It's fast, convenient, and always keeps you logged in.

This works on iPhone and Android devices using any browser.

iPhone (Safari or Chrome)

Step 1: Open Stacklist in your browser

Step 2: Find the Share button

  • Safari: Tap the Share icon at the bottom of your screen (it looks like a square with an arrow pointing up)

  • Chrome: Tap the three dots in the top right corner, then tap "Share"

Step 3: Add to Home Screen

  • Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"

  • You'll see a preview of the Stacklist icon

  • Tap "Add" in the top right corner

Step 4: Open Stacklist from your home screen

  • You'll now see the Stacklist icon on your home screen, just like any other app

  • Tap it to open Stacklist

  • You may need to log in one time, but after that you'll stay logged in

That's it! Stacklist now opens like an app, loads faster, and always has the latest features.

Android (Chrome, Firefox, or Samsung Internet)

Step 1: Open Stacklist in your browser

  • Go to stacklist.app in Chrome, Firefox, or Samsung Internet

  • Log in to your account

Step 2: Find the menu

  • Chrome: Tap the three dots in the top right corner

  • Firefox: Tap the three dots in the top right corner

  • Samsung Internet: Tap the three lines in the bottom right corner

Step 3: Add to Home Screen

  • Tap "Add to Home Screen" or "Install" (wording varies by browser)

  • You'll see a preview of the Stacklist icon

  • Tap "Add" or "Install"

Step 4: Open Stacklist from your home screen

  • You'll now see the Stacklist icon on your home screen

  • Tap it to open Stacklist

  • You may need to log in one time, but after that you'll stay logged in

Why This Is Better Than the Previous Installed App (For now)

  • Always up to date: No need to download updates, you always get the latest version while we make fast improvements to the Stacklist network.

  • Faster feature rollouts: When we update the website, mobile website has features immediately.

  • More features: Access to all workspace and organizational tools right away.

πŸ”” We will be starting to quickly work on the iPhone and Android full replacements (Lets call them Stacklist Mobile 2.0) as quick as we can and will send updates as we have early Beta testing versions for you to try.

Need Help?

If you run into any issues or have questions:

Notes on browser differences:

  • Safari (iPhone): Share button is at the bottom center

  • Chrome (iPhone/Android): Three dots are in the top right

  • Firefox (Android): Three dots are in the top right, same as Chrome

  • Samsung Internet (Android): Three lines are in the bottom right instead of dots

All browsers work the same way once you find the menu - just look for "Add to Home Screen" or "Install."
