What is a Card?

A card is how we save a link that you want to return to at some point. It can be anything - an Airbnb you like the look of, a Google Maps link of a place you want to visit (or come back to!), a recipe... Anything!

How to Make a Card

So how do you make a card?

πŸ‘‰ If you're on your computer & logged in to Stacklist...

  1. Click the + button in the top right of your screen.

  2. Select 'Add New Card'.

  3. Paste your link in the top box.

  4. Depending on the link you add, we'll usually be able to give your card a Title and an Image so that you can easily spot it when saved. However, if we can't find a suitable name & photo, or even if you just want to change the info we've found, you can edit the Title & Image yourself.

  5. Add a Tag, so you can easily find it later. For example, if we were creating a card for a recipe, you might want to Tag it #vegetarian or #quickdinnner. Learn more about Tags here.

  6. If you have any more information you want to save with this link, you can add some notes.

  7. If you already have a Stack set up, you can add your card to your desired Stack(s) by clicking the 'Add Card to Stack' dropdown at the bottom. Learn more about Stacks here.

And voila, that's it!

Top Tip: You can add a new card from anywhere if you're using Chrome when you have the Chrome Extension! Download it here.

πŸ‘‰ If you're browsing on your computer

  1. Make sure you have the Stacklist Chrome Extension installed. Learn more about how to install the extension here.

  2. Click on the Stacklist icon near your search bar in Chrome.

  3. The URL & title of your new card will appear automatically, but feel free to change the name.

  4. Add a Tag, so you can easily find it later. For example, if we were creating a card for a recipe, you might want to Tag it #vegetarian or #quickdinnner. Learn more about Tags here.

  5. If you have any more information you want to save with this link, you can add some notes.

  6. If you already have a Stack set up, you can add your card to your desired Stack(s) by clicking the 'Add Card to Stack' dropdown at the bottom. Learn more about Stacks here.
