What is a Stack?
A Stack is a collection of your cards. For example, you might have a Stack called 'Vacation Stays' with cards that include links to various Airbnbs or Booking.com links, or a Stack called 'Recipes', with cards that link to your favourite dinner recipes from across the web.
You can have a private Stack, which only you can see, or a Stack that you've shared with other people. Anyone who you share a Stack with will be able to see all the Cards in that Stack.
How to Make a Stack
So how do you make a new Stack?
👉 If you're on your computer & logged in to Stacklist...
Click the + button in the top right of your screen and then select 'Create New Stack'. Alternatively, if you're already in your Stacks view, you can just click the 'Create New' button.
Give your Stack a name.
Add a note to your Stack that describes what type of Cards you're going to add to add if you like.
If you already have some Cards which you'd like to add to this Stack, click the 'Add Cards' dropdown & select your desired Cards for this Stack. If you don't have any Cards to add just yet, you can learn how to create them here!
Voila! That's it. Once you've created your new Stack, you can view the Cards in that Stack by clicking on it.
How to Share a Stack
If you want to share a Stack of Cards with a friend (or a few!), it's simple. Your friends don't need to be users of Stacklist, although as a small business we'd love for you to recommend us(!), they just need the share link.
To generate a share link:
Click the three dots on your Stack.
Select 'Share Stack'.
This will then create a link for you. Click on the copy icon to copy this link to your clipboard, then paste it in a message or email to your friends!
